Details: The Learning Disability Service is seeking to appoint a qualified RNLD or RMN to join our developing teams on the Hafan Derwen site in Carmarthen. You will be working with an experienced team of nurses either on a new six bedded facility for clients with complex needs where there may be personality disorder, mental health issues, challenging behaviour or autistic spectrum disorder who require an active therapeutic management plan aimed at helping the clients return to the community or a recently re-developed five bedded acute admission unit.
In both units there will be an active inter-face with the community to ensure that clients will be supported promptly back in to their own environment.
The service is committed to the development of staff to ensure that psychological skills are available and that there is competence in electronic case management. In addition there will be a focus on working with young people through transition and health promotion.
