Details: Occupational Therapist required for the Procured Beds Service and Acute Ward at Dereham/ Acute Ward at Norwich Community Hospital.
Procured Beds are funded by the NHS and are used for patients who no longer need to be in an acute bed but who, for several reasons, are not yet ready to go home. There is therapy input twice a week on average for these patients at various inpatient settings, nursing or residential homes in the area.
These beds are currently at; Lincoln House, Dereham; Saxlingham Hall, Saxlingham Nethergate; Walcott Hall, Walcott, Diss, Ford Place, Thetford and Oakwood House, Norwich
The role will involve provision of therapy to both the Procured Beds at Lincoln House and at Ford Place and within the Acute Ward Setting at Foxley Ward at Dereham together with supporting Team Lead with development of a robust service for these beds. The role will benefit from full multi disciplinary and senior professional support from both wards.
