This is your opportunity to join our established and fully funded IAPT service as a Senior CBT Psychotherapist. You will be joining a service of fifty eight staff, including three team leaders, thirty senior CBT therapists and CBT therapists, four counsellors and eighteen Step 2 workers.
You will be able to provide skilled levels of CBT evidence based interventions for the whole range of depression and anxiety disorders and will be excited about the chance to supervise, manage and provide leadership to more junior CBT therapists and IAPT trainees within the team.
You will be highly competent in working within a socially deprived and multi-cultural setting.You will have had substantial experience in adult mental health and/or primary care and will be a BABCP accredited practitioner or in the process of applying.
We will ensure you have a secure and committed team to work with a large peer group of CBT therapists, regular clinical, managerial and supervisory supervision, and the opportunity to help us shape and develop our next five year plan. We will also ensure you have the opportunity to contribute to the development and provision of our level 2 CBT training programme. We will be committed to helping you plan and continue to develop and progress your career, and we offer a wide range of CPD and training opportunities.
The Senior CBT post will report to and be supported by the IAPT team leader in one of our IAPT Central team. Candidates for all posts must be registered with a recognised professional body.
