Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to join the Child Development Centre (CDC), based in new premises in Axe Street, Barking. The CDC sees children under five years with complex developmental disorders. These children are assessed by a multidisciplinary team consisting of Paediatricians, a Clinical Psychologist (post holder), Speech therapist, Specialist health visitor and Nursery nurse. The post holder will work in partnership with the CDC multidisciplinary team. Working with a Consultant Paediatrician, the clinical psychologist will be also expected to see children and their families who have been sexually abused for Psychological assessment, support and onward referral if appropriate.
As a clinical psychologist, you will have a recognised qualification with proven experience of working therapeutically with children and young people who present with complex development needs.
