Details: South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health and learning disability services to around 1 million people across Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. We also provide some specialist medium secure services to the whole of Yorkshire and the Humber. The Trust employs nearly 2500 staff across around 50 sites and is widely regarded as a dynamic, forward thinking organisation. We were authorised as a Foundation Trust in May 2009, so we now have greater freedom to decide locally how best to meet the Government’s national policies and targets, and to make sure that our services meet the needs of local people with mental health problems and learning disabilities.
We are looking for a keen Psychology Graduate who is committed to working with people with learning disabilities.
One post involves assisting the Consulting Clinical Psychologist in work with people (children and adults) with learning disabilities who live in the community in Huddersfield. You will be based with the Community Learning Disability Team at the Greenhead Resource Unit.
Duties will include psychological assessment, data analysis, observational work and some one to one work with clients under supervision.
