The Low Secure Services are looking to recruit an suitably qualified Clinical Psychologist who can demonstrate enthusiasm to work with this patient group. The Low Secure Service consists of 27 Beds across 2 wards including a state of the art new build . Both areas have recently received very positive reports from the CQC and have an established & supportive Medical, Clinical & Managerial team.
The successful applicant will be expected to work within the multi-disciplinary team focusing on the principles of recovery and assisting the staff in dealing with patients with specific complexity of needs. Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professionals Council is required. There will also be encouragement to become involved in learning, training and research programmes including the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology, the Medical School and CBT Diploma at the University of East Anglia. Supervision will be provided and the Trust are working towards providing a clear career pathway for psychology across the service. The Trust also has extremely good working relationships with the University of East Anglia outside of the formal training structure, including involvement in research programmes.
