Details: We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated psychologist to join our Surrey Children and Young People’s service. This exciting position will be based in the multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health services in North Surrey (Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital, Ashford). The post holder would join our well established team of clinical child psychologists providing input to a multi-agency child development teams, primary mental health, looked after children and paediatrics as well as opportunities in current speciality fields of interest such as: Eating Disorders, Trauma, Sexual Abuse, Social Skills,OCD, ASD, Anxiety Management, Anger Management for children at risk of exclusion, Learning Difficulties, Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, Playtherapy, Parenting groups, Health Visitor Training and Consultation to other professionals in health, education and social services. Professional development opportunities are ongoing with teaching and research interests encouraged. The department has close links with the Doctoral clinical psychology training courses in South Thames.
