The work involves working with service users where there is a risk assessment identifying the need for male support in the provision of aspects of this persons care and support.
Caswell Clinic is a purpose built Medium Secure Unit. It offers treatment and care to individuals with mental health needs who have offended or are at risk of offending. A range of training opportunities are available to the successful candidate.
The main responsibilities of the post are to assist registered nurses in meeting the needs of the patient group. Applicants need to be motivated, patient centred and able to work with limited supervision in pursuit of meeting the care needs of our patient group.
Internal rotation is in operation between day and night duties. This post attracts a retention and recruitment premium. The organisation is specifically recruiting male only applicants at this time to address gender imbalance within the organisation and in order to meet patient need.
