This exciting new post is an opportunity for an assistant to work in
both Child Learning Disability and Child and Adolescent Mental Health
settings. Services for children with ASD in Conwy and Denbighshire
are currently provided from both Child LD and CAMHS services, as
appropriate to the childs needs. There will be opportunities to work
alongside clinicians as well as conducting a service evaluation of
services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders living within
Conwy and Denbighshire, who access either service. The evaluation
will include service mapping, exploring the views of service users
regarding their experiences of assessment, diagnosis and follow up,
as well as interventions.
