Details: The Trust is committed to providing high quality integrated health and social care for local people with mental health problems in South West London and more specialist mental health services for people throughout the UK. Highly Specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Psychological Therapies and Well Being Service Springfield University Hospital 33.75 hours per week Band 8b £44,258 - £54,714 plus Inner London allowances pro rata per annum You will have a Doctorate level training in clinical, applied or formal psychotherapy. You will require assessed experience of working as a qualified applied psychologist or doctoral level psychotherapist for a substantive period and at a highly specialist level. With experience of specialist psychological assessment, formulation and treatment of clients across the full range of adult mental health care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care and in-patient settings. You will need to demonstrate an extensive understanding of the national IAPT service and how it links to governmental objectives. As well as knowledge of the issues surrounding work and the impact it can have on mental health / benefits & employment systems. The post holder will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme within Wandsworth. The Psychological Therapies and Wellbeing Service (PTWBS) is divided into three clusters for the delivery of services. The successful cluster lead will carry out sector wide responsibility for ensuring that IAPT national guidelines are adhered to, local targets for clinical recovery and employment support are achieved and that the clinical governance arrangements (including supervision) are in place and working well within the cluster.
