Details: CAMHS in North Essex is developing services for young people with complex emotional, psychological or mental health needs. We are looking for an experienced Clinical and/or Forensic Adolescent Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team to support this development with children and young people who present a risk to others, either referred to CAMHS Tier 3 and 4 or in the youth justice system in North Essex. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and innovative CAMHS/YOS and a child clinical psychology group with strong academic links.
To provide a mental health/risk assessment, management, treatment and consultation service for children and young people at risk of offending or already within the Youth Justice system in collaboration with other professionals in a multi-agency community setting. This post will include complex clinical and risk assessment and risk management as an integral part of the work.
Professional Qualification in Clinical and/or Forensic Psychology at Doctorate level. Preferred significant CAMHS and/or Youth Justice experience.
