Details: Applications are invited for the appointment of a 0.5 Consultant Psychiatrist. This new post, for which the post holder will give 0.5 WTE Consultant input, will be in addition to the current 0.5 consultant input already provided to the established South Team. It is envisioned that consultant responsibility will be developed for a designated sector of the South PCT area (South West or South East) in line with Home Treatment and CMHT boundaries. This will enable the team to meet PCT targets of a total caseload of 140 clients.
The Team base is within EIS services: 1 Miler Street Aston. B67NH
Inpatient admissions are to the Oleastar unit.
Applicants must have full registration with the GMC, MRCPsych or equivalent, Section 12 (2) approval and CCST accreditation in General Adult Psychiatry, with experience in Early Intervention and Assertive Outreach working.
