Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services provide community based, multidisciplinary assessment and treatment to meet the mental health needs of infants, children and youth from birth to 19 years. We are a well established service that is dedicated to improving access for young people and working together with families.

We currently have two part time Consultant Psychiatrist vacancies; one within the Wellington Child, Adolescent, and Family Service, the other within the Porirua/Kapiti Child, Adolescent, and Family Service.

The position within the Wellington Child, Adolescent, and Family Service is for 24 hours per week and will comprise of both outpatient community and paediatric consultation liaison psychiatry. The Porirua/Kapiti Child, Adolescent position is community based, covering the Kapiti Coast area and is for 12 hours per week.
